About Mark
Mark grew up around machinery. A Team Demolition & Civil started as a small family operation back in 1988, and he’s spent the decades since learning every side of the earthworks and demolition trade — from running the excavator himself to quoting the trickiest tight-access jobs in Brisbane’s older suburbs.
These days Mark still gets out to site regularly, but most of his time goes into making sure every crew is trained properly, every machine is maintained, and every job meets Queensland’s safety and council standards. He’s dealt with just about every kind of pool removal, demolition and excavation problem a Brisbane property can throw up.
On the blog, Mark writes about what he’s learned on real Queensland job sites — practical, no-nonsense advice for homeowners and builders navigating demolition, excavation and earthworks projects.
